Role Overview

As a Member of our Sales and Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting Member Services, Facility Management, and Sales-related workflows. This position places strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for our Members. Key responsibilities include facilitating the end-to-end sales process, resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency, and responding promptly to Member inquiries. 

This is a full-time, on-site position (M-F) based in Chicago’s River North neighborhood.


Core Functions

  • This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires the ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities 
  • Serve as the primary contact for all Membership-related inquiries, providing support via phone and email
  • Help to maintain a clean, modern, functioning, efficient, and inviting facility for Members, guests, and employees
  • Address routine and ad hoc facility upkeep issues, leveraging vendors and building maintenance when needed
  • Provide support with implementation of operational improvements and sales activities
  • Manage various functions related to Membership transactions and service delivery
  • Share materials, answer questions, and conduct tours for prospects, as needed
  • Deliver outbound communication to Members on a scheduled and ad hoc basis free of grammatical and formatting errors
  • Provide tactical support for marketing and communication efforts
  • Manage a broad range of core administrative duties in support of operations
  • Be challenged to acquire new competencies and accept new challenges


Education/Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree 
  • 2-3 years of experience in a dynamic, demanding environment


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, confident, and a positive, proactive approach to work
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask in a dynamic environment without being overwhelmed
  • Prior experience with a CRM
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, MS Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience and comfort with learning new online systems/software
  • Mature, patient, and great with people
  • A proven track-record of handling sensitive and confidential matters
  • A practical-minded, common-sense thinker
  • Remain flexible and adaptable as your role and the company evolve
  • Ability to understand and commit to following processes and protocols
  • Tactical willingness to roll up your sleeves to collaborate to get things done—your job is the job that needs to be done
  • A passion for integrated personal health and wellness
  • A desire to learn and grow professionally


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Must have physical stamina and mobility
