Scott is a physical therapist who strives to provide a full-body, hands-on approach to rehabilitating and preventing injuries. Using various manual therapy techniques and exercise programming, Scott works to restore mobility, strength, and proper movement patterns in his patients. He understands the importance of learning about patients’ unique needs, which allows him to tailor his treatment on an individual level. He empowers his patients by helping them better understand their bodies. A life revolving around sports shaped his passion for physical activity and human movement. Over time, his competitive nature has shifted from baseball to golf.
Through training with the Titleist Performance Institute, he gained a deeper understanding of golf swing mechanics to help patients improve performance and decrease injury. Scott is also certified in dry needling, and his additional training includes the McKenzie Method, Blood Flow Restriction Training, and Spinal Manipulation.
Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin Madison and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove.
Outside of SHIFT, you can find Scott spending time with family and friends, on the golf course, or cheering on his Wisconsin Badgers and Chicago sports teams.
